I've been working on this for what feels like forever. Before going on my honeymoon last year, I decided to dip my toe into time-lapses. After the first successful one, I was hooked. There's something about staying in one spot for hours on end, the makes me feel closer to the city. It also takes discipline to not touch the camera, something that I needed to work on for regular shooting as well.
I think the thing that draws me to time-lapses the most, is that it's this great combination of photography and video. The challenge is to shoot for the still AND for the clip. It takes a lot of planning and patience, and is a fun challenge, even when I ruin the shot.
